Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience working with grades 7-12 preferred
• Strong collaborative and communication skills to partner with students, families, and staff
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Positive, resourceful approach to addressing diverse student needs
• Solid understanding of academic and behavioral interventions for students with IEPs

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing and delivering individualized instruction aligned to IEP goals for students in grades 7-12
• Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to integrate students into inclusive settings
• Conducting ongoing assessments to track progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Communicating regularly with families, providing updates and support
• Managing classroom routines and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing insightfully as part of the multidisciplinary team
