About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver to support local operations in New Bedford, Massachusetts. This dedicated, home-daily position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $27 per hour
• Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
• Estimated weekly pay: $1,200
• Attendance bonus: $250 quarterly
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with an 8:00 a.m. start time
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Start date: August 11, 2026
• Home time: Home daily

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and applicable safety standards.
• Perform required freight-handling tasks.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
• Meet the physical demands of the role.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A license.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• No endorsements required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
