Qualifications Current certification as a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) Active licensure required for school‑based SLPs in California Experience working with high school students strongly preferred Solid knowledge of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment practices Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for high school students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with each student’s unique needs Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations to support student success Maintain detailed documentation and progress tracking compliant with school policies and state/federal regulations Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to create supportive and inclusive learning environments Offer guidance and resources to families and staff regarding speech and language development This contract is ideal for certified, licensed SLPs seeking full‑time school‑based experience in a dynamic secondary education setting.
