Travel MRI Technologist Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital MRI department
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,170–$2,330
• Start Date: November 30, 2026
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, evening shift
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shift, approximately 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Call, Weekend, and Holiday Coverage: Not required
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Contract Flexibility: Flexible contract lengths may be available based on operational needs

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of MRI Technologist experience; a minimum of 18 months of permanent MRI experience is required for travel eligibility
• Active ARRT (MR) certification
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Recent Siemens MRI experience required, including familiarity with Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto scanners
• Experience performing routine neurological, body, and musculoskeletal MRI examinations
• Permanent Ohio licensure in hand at the time of submission, or an applicable compact license when accepted
• Required certifications and licensure must be active and unrestricted
• Two recent professional references from a manager, supervisor, assistant nurse manager, or director in the specialty
• Ability to meet applicable health screening, background check, and facility compliance requirements

Travel MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in a hospital setting while following established MRI safety and imaging protocols
• Operate Siemens MRI systems, including Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto scanners
• Complete routine neurological, body, and musculoskeletal MRI studies
• Screen patients for MRI safety, verify clinical information, and prepare patients for examinations
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to safety concerns or changes in condition
• Document examinations accurately and maintain a professional, patient-centered imaging experience
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, technologists, and other members of the care team
