About the Role:
Jimmy's BBQ in Malvern, PA is looking for a hardworking and passionate team member to join our kitchen crew as a Cook/Dishwasher/Prep! If you love great BBQ and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this is the perfect opportunity to be part of something delicious. Come help us serve up the smoky, mouth-watering flavors our community craves!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook BBQ menu items to order, following established recipes and quality standards
- Perform food prep tasks including chopping, marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace throughout each shift
- Wash, sanitize, and restock dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries and inventory rotation
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code guidelines
- Support kitchen team during high-volume service periods to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen, food prep, or dishwashing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-player attitude
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
