Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 8-hour and 10-hour shifts; Day shift only
• Job Setting: Hospital Providers must be open to working at all 4 hospitals
• Types of Cases: General, Neuro, Ortho, OB, Electrophysiology (EP) Spinal cases are required
• Charting System: iPro
• Anesthesia Rooms: 26
• Supervision: MDs supervising CRNAs at a 1:4 ratio; MDs also performing their own cases
• Credentialing: Estimated privileging timeframe: 60 days; Accelerated/Temporary privileges available (30-60 days)

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education; candidates must have or be able to obtain a Texas state license (candidates requiring state licensure will not be considered)
