Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Irving, TX – hybrid, 3 days onsite One of Vaco’s multilocation healthcare clients is looking to add a Senior Accountant to the team due to growth. The company is growing rapidly via acquisition (2-4 transactions/month) and offers lots of opportunity for promotion (current Manager started as a Senior, promoted twice). Due to the structure of the accounting department, they need folks with full cycle accounting in a multi-location/entity environment. Compensation: $95K + Bonus Day-to-day Own the full-cycle accounting process, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and month-end close Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multi-location operations Manage intercompany transactions, allocations, and eliminations across entities and locations Ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition in accordance with U.S. GAAP Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with FP&A and operations Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation Assist with audit, tax, and regulatory compliance, serving as a key point of contact for external auditors Analyze operational and location-level financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities Support system implementations, integrations, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability Mentor junior accounting staff and provide review and guidance as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-track preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting Proven experience supporting multi-location or multi-entity organizations Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr Vaco Recruiter Services
