Tax Manager Or Senior ManagerOur client, a Public Accounting Firm in Metro Atlanta is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join their Tax & Accounting team. The Manager/Senior Manager will have a focus in tax and advisory services and will serve as a trusted business advisor. This is a unique opportunity for a Certified Public Accountant with a short path to partner. As a member of our talented team, the successful candidate will serve as a cohesive team member who consistently demonstrates high integrity and reliability within a professional environment.RESPONSIBILITIESLead and supervise the activities of senior, staff, and intern accountants who compile and review financial statements and prepare tax returns for clientsPrepare and review income tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and individualsPrepare and review form 1099's and personal property tax returnsCalculate shareholder buy-in and buy-out amounts and physician compensation allocationsAssist in tax planning and providing business advice and retirement plan administration for clientsIdentify potential tax problem areas and propose solutions to management teamCompile and review clients' financial statements and management reportsDemonstrate excellent time management skills and use of current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of serviceDevelop and maintain a good work relationship with clientsAssist with other accounting projects as neededQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredCPA certification or pursuit of CPA required5+ years of tax and accounting experience, preferably with a public accounting firmExhibit an ability to apply tax and accounting knowledgeDetail oriented with excellent organizational skillsGood communication skills, both oral and writtenClient-oriented work ethic, delivering high quality resultsDedication to teamwork and leadershipExperience with QuickBooks, Creative Solutions and ProSystem fx desired
