The Young Adults Worship Leader serves by cultivating a worship culture that helps young adults encounter Jesus and respond to Him wholeheartedly. This role champions both the platform and the people behind it by building thriving worship teams, developing leaders, and creating Spirit-led environments where excellence and authenticity work together to point people to Christ.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Champion a culture of worship that is spiritually vibrant and highly engaging, where authenticity, prayer, humility define every worship environment.
• Lead worship weekly for YA Sunday Night gatherings.
• Identify, recruit, and develop a growing team of worship leaders, musicians, and vocalists.
• Direct service programing, set planning and create Ableton resources to equip volunteers.
• Own and manage Planning Center to schedule volunteers. 
• Lead weekly rehearsals that cultivate both a high musical standard and spiritual formation, helping the team grow as disciples as well as musicians.
• Create a healthy leadership pipeline by identifying and mentoring new worship leaders and team members.
• Partner closely with the Young Adults Pastor to shape worship gatherings that support the teaching, vision, and the overall direction of the ministry.

What We Are Looking For:

• A passionate follower of Jesus with a heart for leading people in worship.
• Strong vocal and musical ability with a high level of musical proficiency and demonstrated excellence leading worship in large environments.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and multiply worship leaders, musicians, and volunteers.
• A collaborative leader who works well across teams and contributes to a healthy ministry culture.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to lead teams with clarity and consistency.
• A humble, teachable spirit.
• A desire to create worship environments that are both authentic and high quality. 

Our Requirements:

• 5+ years of worship leadership experience, preferably in a large church or growing ministry.
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.
• Exemplifies our seven staff values: Honor, Care, Accountability, Grit, Authenticity, Humility, and Fun.
• Leads by example fulfilling the staff expectations of groups, inviting, serving, worship and giving. 
• Agree with the *Statement of Faith, submit to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantras in tangible ways.
