Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – Registered Nurse (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients in the PACU setting
• Deliver pre-operative and post-operative patient care and assessment
• Support surgical and ambulatory care unit operations
• Monitor and manage critically ill or post-surgical patients during recovery
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and continuity of care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers and candidates with less than 2 years of experience will not be considered
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Experience in a Critical Care RN role with Pre-op, Post-op, and Surgical/Ambulatory Care settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Strong background in surgical and ambulatory care environments
• Ability to work a consistent, non-blocked schedule
