Part-Time Human Resources Assistant

St. Andrew's Parish Parks & Playground Commission is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Assistant to support our Human Resources Department.

This position assists with new hire paperwork, onboarding, employee records, pre-employment screenings, certification tracking, HR systems, and other routine administrative tasks. You'll also communicate with applicants, employees, and supervisors and help keep important HR processes organized and on schedule.

Hours are generally Monday through Friday, up to 29 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for a retiree who wants to stay active in the workforce, a parent or caregiver looking for a professional part-time role, or someone interested in gaining hands-on HR experience.

What We're Looking For

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
• Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, electronic files, and office software
• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Previous administrative, clerical, office, customer service, or HR experience preferred

Experience with onboarding, employee records, applicant tracking systems, payroll systems, or HR software is a plus. Coursework or education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
