Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - Acute Care Impact

Job Summary TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Details Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As an SLP, you will assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments and assess and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create treatment and therapy plans individualized for a diverse patient population. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders, their causes, and treatment options. Report progress and status to family members, teachers, or medical professionals. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Must have 6 months of clinical experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Must possess BLS certification and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing. Physical requirements: ability to stand, walk, and bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
