This in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions.About the RoleWe are looking for senior software engineers with expertise in developing embedded software applications on production computers to build the next-generation vehicle platform! It is a unique opportunity to work on challenging engineering problems while being part of a fast-moving team.At Applied Intuition, You Will:Integrate vendor components into a common software framework, ensuring proper low-level communication (e.g., CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, UART etc.)Implement real-time operating system (RTOS) applications as required for the productArchitect and develop high-quality C code for real-time embedded environments, including safety critical systemsSupport hardware bring-up, including low level debug of board and SoCWork with cross-functional teams to bring up custom software on new devices, productionize it, and manage the process for maintaining company productsWe're Looking For Someone Who Has:5+ years of experience working on embedded devicesBS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldStrong background in embedded software development using C/C++ and assembly languagesHands-on experience with RTOS, Linux, and/or ARM systemsDebugging skills in real world environments with embedded diagnostics tooling such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG etc.Nice To Have:Prior experience in developing on-vehicle technology, ZephyrOS, FreeRTOSAbility to work with safety critical robotic systems with real time constraintsExpert knowledge of embedded microprocessor tools, hardware peripherals, and common busesDon't meet every single requirement?
