Restaurant Assistant General Manager, Bull & Bear – Waldorf Astoria Orlando Job Number: HOT0CIS0 Location: Waldorf Astoria Orlando – 14200 Bonnet Creek Resort Lane, Orlando, FL 32821 Waldorf Astoria Orlando is looking for an Assistant General Manager to oversee the award-winning Bull & Bear restaurant, a fine dining steakhouse located on the property. In this role you will: Assist the General Manager in directing and organizing the activities and services of the restaurant, ensuring an excellent guest experience. Manage day-to-day operations, including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use, budgeting and forecasting, and overall profitability. Oversee department management, policy and procedure implementation, enforcement and meeting participation. Monitor and develop team member performance, providing supervision, counseling, evaluations and recognition. Assess product quality and service satisfaction trends, address issues, and make continuous improvements. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Implement marketing and upselling techniques to maximize overall revenue. Recruit, interview and train team members. Act in the absence of the General Manager when required. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment. Experience in all aspects of restaurant operations, including financial performance, social media reputation, local market capture and employee relations. Strong beverage knowledge. Prior luxury hotel experience is preferred. Exceptional leadership, passion for creating extraordinary experiences, and talent for training and developing others.
