What You’ll Do 40% - Forecast & Analysis Support the annual budget and monthly projections. Assist in automating standard processes and reporting to reduce reporting burden and increase meaningful/value added analyses. 25% - Other Work closely with internal accounting team to provide support documentation and commentary for annual external audit requests. 25% - Month-end close responsibilities Work closely with internal accounting team during the close process to ensure proper accruals and deferrals. Assist in preparation of monthly variance analysis as it compares to actual vs. forecast. 10% - Perform ad-hoc analysis or special projects Who You Are Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and adhering to deadlines Strong time management skills and ability to switch focus as necessary Maintain a positive attitude and be able to adapt to changes Self-confident and proactive in building relationships internally and externally Strong communication skills and ability to work with all members of the organization and all levels of management Preferred Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting 1+ relevant years of accounting/finance experience, preferably with some experience in a transaction support or corporate finance role Proficiency in Excel is a must Knowledge of accounting fundamentals and US GAAP is a must Experience with Great Plains or similar G/L systems a plus Interest in the media industry is a strong plus, though prior experience is not a necessity Certificates, Licenses and Registrations CPA or equivalent highly favorable, but not required Physical Activity and Work Environment There are no requirements for physical activity and work environment. Salary Range $66,300.00 - $80,000.00 A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
