About the Role
We're looking for an energetic, people-first Marketing Specialist to help grow our brand in the local community. This role is equal parts hustle and hospitality: you'll be out representing us at events, building relationships that bring in new business, and making sure every customer interaction reflects our "Good Food. Great People." mindset.
What You'll Do
- Plan and attend off-site events (community events, catering functions, local sponsorships, tabling, etc.) to promote the brand
- Generate new business through local outreach, partnerships, and relationship-building with businesses, schools, and community organizations
- Represent the store professionally at all times, on-site and off-site
- Support in-store marketing efforts — promotions, signage, social media content, and local advertising initiatives
- Deliver excellent customer service, both in person and while representing the brand externally
- Track and report on event outcomes and new business leads
- Collaborate with management on marketing strategy and community engagement plans
What We're Looking For
- Open/flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed for events
- Reliable transportation — must be able to travel to and attend off-site events
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- A natural connector who's comfortable starting conversations and building relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to generate leads and follow through on new business opportunities
- Positive, professional, and represents the brand well
- Prior marketing, sales, events, or customer service experience a plus
