What You ll Do:

• Function as a trauma hospitalist rounder, managing 10-14 admitted patients (non-ICU), 6 in ICU
• Provide care for adult and pediatric patients (Level I adult trauma with pediatrics)
• Respond to trauma alerts and facilitate patient discharges
• Conduct daily rounds and manage trauma or critical care conditions
• Assist with procedures such as central lines, chest tubes, and minor laceration suturing (preferred but not required)
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons and interdisciplinary team members
• Document care using electronic medical records accurately and timely

What You Need:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Minnesota
• Prior experience in trauma, surgical critical care, or emergency settings
• Ability to perform procedures such as chest tube insertions, central lines, and ventilation management
• Strong autonomous working skills with the ability to respond to trauma alerts confidently
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
