Registered Nurse – Surgical StepdownSchedule: 36-hour Nights, E/O Weekend, E/O HolidayRequirements:MA Licensed RN2+ years of recent acute care experienceSurgical stepdown experience at a Level 1 trauma centerIMCU/Stepdown experienceProficient in auto medication dispensingMust have more than 1 previous travel assignmentAbility to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm stripsAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationRoles & Responsibilities:Provide intermediate care to post-operative patients transferred from PACU or SICU.Monitor and assess patients requiring post-surgical care, including cardiothoracic, vascular, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.Compliance / Notes:Tele test and CC Med test on day 1.Previous permanent staff are not eligible to be submitted as travelers.
