Contract | Days (0630–1900) | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and/or treatments; accurately document care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Float as a sitter and participate in rotation floating as required; on-call participation is required

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact RN license required
• CVOR experience required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must practice consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and applicable unit-specific standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience delegating and overseeing care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Familiarity with performance improvement processes and collaboration within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Strong documentation skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing workflows and procedures
