My client is a high-growth B2B media, events, and community business seeking a Managing Director to lead and scale its integrated marketing services agency

This is a transformational leadership opportunity with full P&L ownership.

The agency has strong foundations: an established reputation, long-standing client relationships, and access to a broader portfolio of media, community, and event assets. The mandate is to modernize its go-to-market approach, expand beyond traditional services into content, thought leadership, and audience intelligence, and build a scalable, higher-margin business for its next stage of growth.

The Managing Director will be responsible for:

• Define and execute the growth strategy for an integrated marketing services agency, including full accountability for revenue, cost structure, margin, and profitability
• Modernize positioning, service offerings, packaging, and pricing
• Expand the agency’s capabilities beyond traditional services into content (including multimedia), thought leadership, executive visibility, market strategy, and audience intelligence
• Build and execute a sales strategy focused on new business, account expansion, and converting the parent business’s broader roster of enterprise accounts
• Personally originate and close high-value, enterprise engagements alongside the sales team
• Shift the client base toward higher-value, higher-yield accounts for a more stable revenue foundation
• Lead and develop commercial, delivery, and client-facing teams, building a high-performance, accountability-driven culture
• Act as a senior client advisor, credible external voice, and executive relationship owner

The Managing Director will have the following experience:

• 10+ years of executive leadership experience in agency, communications, media, demand generation, or B2B information services
• Proven experience operating as a General Manager or business leader with full P&L responsibility
• A track record of scaling service portfolios and leading business transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated success selling and closing high-value, complex enterprise engagements
• Strong financial acumen – budgeting, forecasting, and margin/profitability management
• Experience building and leading high-performing commercial and client-facing teams
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate as both strategic leader and hands-on commercial operator – a “player-coach” who can lead a team while carrying a target

Experience in B2B technology, media, information services, or integrated marketing environments is highly desirable.
