Diabetes Sales Specialist - Boston South, MA
Abbott
Abbott seeks a Diabetes Sales Specialist for the Boston South area to drive sales of diabetes care products, particularly the Freestyle Libre glucose monitor. The role involves building relationships with healthcare providers and managing territory sales targets in a field-based position.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales quotas and objectives for Abbott Diabetes Care products
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and certified diabetes educators
- Collaborate with managed care, retail, and point-of-care sales channels
- Develop territory, account, and call plans with specific goals and timelines
- Track competitive products and market trends; document daily activities and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 2-4 years of sales experience with proven track record, preferably in healthcare
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong integrity, high energy, and drive to exceed sales objectives
- Preferred: 4+ years relevant sales experience in diabetes or healthcare
- Preferred: Clinical knowledge of diabetes and experience with endocrinologists
