Regional Class A Driver

Job Description Job Description We are looking to bring on a qualified Class A Driver to our client's team. In this role, you will be operating flatbeds and tractor-trailers, making local deliveries of commercial equipment and other materials. This is a regional position where overnight travel will be required throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho however a majority of the work will be local in the Portland / Vancouver area. This is a direct-hire position. Compensation: $30/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm, schedule varies with OTR as needed Location: Vancouver, WA Responsibilities: * Operate a flatbed or a tractor-trailer to make deliveries (48 ft Flatbed, 53 ft dry van trailer) * Strap equipment securely to flatbed * Deliver units to job sites (very little loading involved) * Pick up materials on an as-needed basis Requirements: * This position has been deemed safety sensitive by the DOT and as a result, requires passing a drug screen that includes testing for THC * At least 2 years of Class A Driving experience required * Have a current DOT Med Card * Be comfortable with occasional touch freight * Have a current and valid Class A CDL * Must have clean driving record and ability to pass background check Benefits: * Medical, Dental, Vision * 401(k) * PTO - Paid time off TruFit Staffing is an equal opportunity employer and does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other basis prohibited by federal, state, or local law.
