Standard qualifications include the ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License, submit to a Criminal Investigation Background Check, submit to a Credit Check, submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening, work weekends, nights and holidays, stand, kneel, twist/bend, lift up to 25 lbs, walk the duration of your shift, handle exposure to loud noises, bright lights, high volume guest/employee contact in a fast paced environment, and second hand smoke, and be 18 years of age.

Standard duties include adhering to all established rules, compliance, regulations, guidelines, procedures, and policies, working with a variety of people with diverse personalities, attending all meetings and trainings, as assigned, wearing the approved departmental uniform to standard, being reliable and prompt when reporting to work, maintaining a certain level of attendance as outlined by the company attendance policy, and all other assigned duties.

Work environment includes standing, walking, and demonstrating high-mobility for a majority of the shift, speaking and listening to internal and external customer directions or orders in an atmosphere of varying background noise, transiting across surfaces that may alternate between carpeted and hard surfaces, walking through slippery surfaces and/or sloping floors or stairs, using hands to finger, handle or feel small objects, reaching with hands and arms overhead and from side to side, specific vision abilities required by this job, bending, lifting and carrying supplies and equipment up to 20 pounds, using, pushing and pulling wheeled hand-carts or other equipment weighing in excess of 100 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting at the waist, being occasionally exposed to bodily fluids, pet or service animals, and strong odors, being regularly exposed to tobacco and other second hand smoke, using de-escalation techniques to resolve customer conflict, and being required to assist in customer evacuation in case of emergency.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

As part of Seminole Gaming's employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, which may include a Credit Check, Criminal Background Check, and Drug Screen.
