Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs as ordered by physicians
- Position and prepare patients; explain procedures and ensure comfort
- Adjust exposure factors (kVp, mA, time) for optimal image quality and patient safety
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment; maintain clean, organized workflow
- Perform imaging using portable x-ray and fluoroscopy systems as needed; assist with C-arm procedures
- Verify and document exam details; review images on PACS and communicate essential findings to physicians

Requirements
- ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required
- California Radiologic Technologist license required
- Fluoroscopy license required in California within 6 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
- CRT and Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certifications required; ARRT credential strongly preferred
- At least two years of recent radiology technology experience
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital/travel assignment environment; willingness to rotate as needed
