Your work will come to life by enabling devices and systems to sense, think, act, and continuously optimize in a world that is becoming increasingly transformed by the trends of automation, electrification, and digitalization.The Manager, Investor Relations will report into the Vice President, Investor Relations, joining a team that plays a critical role in communicating Aptiv's business strategy, financial performance, and long-term value creation to the investment community. This individual will partner closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Strategy, Marketing, and Communications teams, among others, to develop compelling messaging that clearly articulates Aptiv's leadership position across markets, near- and long-term financial performance and opportunity, as well as value proposition.Key responsibilities of the Manager, Investor Relations include the following:Financial AnalysisAnalyze quarterly financial performance and identify key drivers for revenue, margins, cash flow, etc.Monitor consensus estimates, understand embedded assumptions (including working directly with analysts), and identify variances versus expectations / guidanceAnalyze peer financial performance and summarize key takeaways relative to AptivMarket and Competitive IntelligenceMonitor and analyze news flow and investor messaging across peer companiesMonitor investor sentiment and summarize feedback across investor/analyst calls, conferences, roadshows, and other meetingsIdentify emerging investor concerns and recommend messaging strategiesExternal CommunicationsDevelop clear and compelling messaging around Aptiv's business strategy, financial performance, competitive positioning, long-term growth opportunities, and value proposition to the investment communitySupport preparation for quarterly earnings, including press releases, presentations, scripts, and Q&A documentsSupport preparation for all other investor engagements including Investor Day, speaking engagements, and corporate announcementsAssist in responding to investor/analyst inquiries and calls, including expectation to handle independently with timeContribute to shareholder engagement strategies, including targeting for conferences and NDRs, while utilizing CRM to measure and evaluate effectivenessInternal CommunicationsWork closely with various internal constituents to coordinate messaging and ensure consistent across all external communicationsSupport preparation of Board of Directors presentations and communications, and employee-facing presentations, ranging from Leadership to All EmployeesRequired:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another related field3-5 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of two years spent in a Capital Markets-related roleExceptional financial modeling and analytical skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, and either Bloomberg or FactSetAbility to communicate complex technical and financial topics to investment communityStrong project management and organizational skillsSuccessful candidates will demonstrate executive presence, strong business judgment, intellectual curiosity, and exceptional attention to detail. They will be highly analytical and strategic, with the ability to quickly synthesize complex technical, financial, and market information into clear, compelling investment narratives. The ideal candidate will be proactive and anticipatory in managing team workflows, comfortable operating independently across assigned workstreams, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while collaborating effectively with executive leadership, institutional investors, analysts, and cross-functional teams.The Investor Relations team is one of the most integrated and intertwined into all areas of Aptiv, ultimately serving a critical function of communicating Aptiv's value proposition to the investment community.
