Core Google Cloud Architect (GCP)
Axiom Global Technologies
We are seeking a highly experienced Core Google Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of a secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade GCP foundation for a financial services client. This role requires a proactive technical leader who can drive cloud strategy, identify architectural gaps, and provide guidance on landing zones, security, governance, IAM, networking, threat management, logging, and service hardening.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement GCP landing zones and cloud foundation architecture
- Establish security, governance, networking, and IAM best practices
- Drive cloud scalability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency
- Serve as the technical authority for major cloud architecture decisions
- Partner with client stakeholders, security teams, and executive leadership

Required Qualification
- Extensive experience architecting enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment
- Strong expertise in Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, and BigQuer
- Hands-on experience with cloud security, IAM, networking, logging, monitoring, and service hardening
- Experience supporting large-scale financial services or highly regulated environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
Prefer
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certificates
- Prior experience building cloud foundations and landing zones for financial institutions.
