DescriptionA leading financial services organization is seeking a senior Storage Systems Engineer to support and modernize its core infrastructure environment. This role focuses on enterprise virtualization, storage platforms, and business continuity while enabling AI-driven and data-intensive workloads.You will play a critical role in maintaining reliability, performance, and resiliency across on-prem and hybrid environments, partnering closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams.What You’ll TackleOperate and optimize VMware-based virtualized environmentsDesign and support enterprise storage platforms and replication strategiesOwn business continuity and disaster recovery planning and executionSupport infrastructure for AI and high-performance workloadsTroubleshoot complex performance, capacity, and resiliency issuesPartner with cross-functional teams on infrastructure modernizationWhat You BringExtensive hands-on VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) experienceStrong background in enterprise storage architecturesProven ownership of BCP/DR and resiliency planningExperience supporting critical systems in regulated environmentsStrong troubleshooting and operational disciplineAbility to work onsite in a hybrid NYC environmentAzure infrastructure experienceExposure to AI or GPU-backed environmentsAutomation or scripting experienceFinancial services background
