Director, Media Planning (Temporary) Remote, USA

YOUR ROLE

Director, Media – Planning and Business Leadership team. Full‑time temporary role through August, eligible for benefits.

Lead media planning and strategy, delivering innovative and high‑quality work that meets client needs across media channels.

• Toggle between strategic oversight and execution, ensuring technical depth underpins strategy.
• Explain media theories and technology to clients, partners, and internal teams as a teacher and mentor.
• Build relationships with clients, business prospects, and partner agencies.
• Advise on new tools, ideas, and opportunities to grow the agency.
• Collaborate in a casual yet structured environment with autonomy to innovate.

REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years of integrated cross‑channel media planning experience.
• Vertical experience in financial, banking, wealth management, or related fields preferred.
• Strategic leadership based on deep knowledge of each client’s business.
• Advanced media product delivery to clients, informed by a holistic view of advertising and media.
• Strong liaison skills among partner agencies, media partners, and internal client teams.
• Thorough understanding of the evolving media landscape.
• Team management experience – mentoring, performance reviews, work distribution, and fair rotations.
• Strong listening skills and willingness to collaborate.
• Participation in new business development.

COMPENSATION

Salary range $100k – $145k, commensurate with experience. Ideal candidate is NY‑based and the role is benefits‑eligible.
