Lead Python Developer

Senior Technical LeadLead backend development using Django and Databricks — designing scalable, secure APIs and microservices, integrating Azure Cloud services, and guiding a technical team through architecture decisions, code quality, and delivery. Experience 10+ years in backend development, including 5+ years with DjangoKey ResponsibilitiesLead the development of backend systems using Django/Databricks.Design and implement scalable, secure APIs and microservices architecture.Integrate Azure Cloud services for application deployment and management.Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.Optimize database performance and manage data storage (SQL and NoSQL).Ensure high performance and security standards; participate in architecture design and technical decision making.Core SkillsPython and Django (expert); RESTful APIs and web servicesMicroservices architecture design and implementationAzure Cloud services (hands-on); containerization with Docker and KubernetesSQL/NoSQL databases, Git, Agile methodologiesStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsMust-have (per requisition):Good to have:
