Learn more about our mission here: Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Shift: Days Maintenance Technician South County, RI | $21-$24/hour West Warwick, South Kingstown, Hopkinton, Richmond, Westerly, Exeter Position Summary: We are hiring a reliable Maintenance Technician to support routine repairs, preventive maintenance, unit turnovers, and common-area upkeep across South County properties. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently across multiple sites. Reports to: Maintenance Team Lead This role supports multiple locations across South County, RI. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complete routine maintenance and repair work in residential units and common areas. Handle work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks. Support unit turnovers, appliance replacement, and general property upkeep. Respond to emergency maintenance calls as part of an on-call rotation. Use mobile tools to track and complete assigned work. Education and Experience: 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred, ideally in residential or multi‑unit housing. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, or appliance repair. Ability to work independently, stay organized, and provide strong customer service. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies: Comfort using mobile apps or digital tools for work orders. Strong attention to safety and quality. Flexible, dependable, and able to participate in an on-call schedule. Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus. Pay Range: $21-$24/hour EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
