ITdependable is seeking a hands-on, versatile technician/generalist to support our expanding client base. This role encompasses two primary functions: field work (low-voltage and network cabling, camera and access control systems, TV and hardware mounting) and general service calls ranging from assisting elderly residential clients with cell phones and basic computer questions to troubleshooting line-of-business applications for law and financial firms.

$45,000 - $60,000 yearly

• Be punctual and ready to work.

• Follow the dress code and be prepared for the day.

• Work with teammates who have varying degrees of experience.

• Make service calls and follow up after service calls are made.

• Document service calls and equipment used on those service calls.

• Monitor the ticket system and responding/accepting tickets.

• Assist in planning for projects ranging from service calls to network installations.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience as an ISP technician or in a similar field role (Cat6, low-voltage)

• Solid understanding of general networking (switches, routers, basic troubleshooting)

• Familiarity with VoIP phone systems

• Comfortable and skilled with power tools

• Experience mounting hardware (TVs, cameras, and satellites)

• Physically able to work on ladders, in ceilings/crawlspaces, and lift equipment

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience at an MSP or similar IT services environment

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365/Google Workspace administration (user lifecycle/onboarding -offboarding)

• General hardware/software troubleshooting experience (desktops, laptops, printers)

• Understands data sensitivity and security basics - knows what normal looks like and notices when something doesn't
