Properly remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, overhead cranes, hand, and power toolsPossess specific fundamental knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, welding principles, rigging, overhead cranes, gearboxes, and mobile equipment operationPrepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsWork safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPELead, coordinates, and documents assigned maintenance projects, including work involving processes, peers, and contractors. Leads department start-up and shut-down activities in accordance with standard operating or routine proceduresParticipate in CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety CultureTroubleshoot issues as they arise. Use SAP to execute work orders and preventive maintenance and use QMOS to follow up on delaysWorks safely at all times by following safety rules, regulations, and PPE requirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and work in heights for extended periods of time in extreme temperaturesAbility to utilize precision measurement instrumentsAbility to work rotating shifts which include weekends and holidaysExperience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferredMinimum 1 year field experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment preferredMinimum 1 year of experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferredMinimum 3 years of field experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment strongly preferredAbility to read hydraulic schematics, troubleshoot hydraulic systems, and diagnose pressure-related issues. Advanced experience with pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and rigging/heavy-load calculationsMinimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environmentsPositive attitude with strong communication skills and willingness to support team and shift coverage needsAbility to work rotating shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, and working at heights in extreme temperaturesHigh School Diploma or GED preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
