Construction Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Construction Treatment/Plants & Infrastructure Last Updated: 4/29/25 Denver, CO - Full-time - $120,000 - $140,000 DOE Currently looking for an experienced Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Project Manager with 7-10+ years in self‑performed treatment plant construction. Candidates should not have more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years. Responsibilities of the Water/Wastewater Construction Project Manager Manage projects ranging from $20M to $150M in size. Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets. Run assigned projects to meet or surpass budget and on‑time completion. Collect and code project cost documents and continually monitor and update the budget to reflect changes in work. Supervise Project Engineers who monitor project schedules and review work schedules for improvement of work methods. Oversee the timely submission and completion of documentation required by the owner and agencies. Prepare subcontractor and supplier agreements and correspondence to document changes in work or costs. Work with foreman and superintendents to monitor all activities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment for crews, subcontractors, and the public. Promote good public relations with owners, subcontractors, and the public. Requirements of the Water/Wastewater Construction Project Manager Four‑year degree in Construction Management or Engineering field. Proven Project Management skills in Water/Wastewater self‑performed construction. Skills in successfully leading project teams and preconstruction with structural concrete, mechanical process piping and excavation experience. Team player with strong work ethic. Proven leadership skills. Project experience in the $500,000 – $6,000,000 range. Working knowledge of Design Build and alternative delivery methods is a plus. Compensation for the Water/Wastewater Construction Project Manager The starting annual salary ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 DOE, plus discretionary annual bonus, company provided vehicle/gas card, full medical coverage and paid vacation/PTO.
