Position: Full-Time, Board Certified Behavior Analyst Location: School-Based, Boston Public Schools Schedule: Monday‑Friday, school year with additional summer pay available! SSAC is a contracted Early Intervention provider, and a large portion of our home services include working with children under the age of 3 through this program. In addition to our Early Intervention services, we offer in‑home services for preschool and school‑aged children, as well as parent training to all our families. Position Summary As a SSAC Behavior Analyst you will demonstrate strong clinical skills, commit to supervising a team of behavior therapists, and maintain excellent communication with parents, supervisors, and supervisees. You will maintain a caseload of clients as determined by the Clinical or Executive Director and carry out all clinical services for each client. You will collaborate with other BCBAs and the Clinical Director of the Program and supervise all Behavior Therapists who work with your clients. You will provide leadership, offering insight and contributions to ensure SSAC’s mission and values are infused into daily operations and ongoing program success. Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities Client‑specific oversight, initial assessment, treatment plan writing, reassessments, gather and maintain session schedule, caseload supervision/management Supervise Behavior Therapists Monitor data Write, modify, and train on programs Serve as the main point of contact for each family; communicate with parents: daily/weekly updates, progress, concerns Facilitate client transition to new team when clinically appropriate Provide school consultation Collaborate with other providers/professionals, provide individual parent training and group parent training Provide leadership, train new Behavior Therapists, and mentor other BCBA’s in program Collaborate with Clinical or Executive Director for program‑wide needs; meet with other BCBAs and directors for collaborative support Contribute to site‑specific and company‑wide projects and tasks as directed Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, and professional development Protect the confidentiality of the client and family Qualifications (Education / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities) Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, or related field (required) BCBA certification and Massachusetts license (LABA) One (1) plus years of BCBA experience preferred; newly certified BCBAs also eligible as part of BCBA Pathway program At least three (3) years of ABA experience or working with individuals with developmental disabilities At least three (3) years of experience working with children with autism ages 14 and younger, including toddlers Two recent redacted writing samples demonstrating clinical skills (Functional Behavior Assessment, Treatment Plan, Behavior Support Plan, Instructional Program) Two professional or academic references Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license Physical ability to occasionally lift, transport clients or equipment weighing up to 40 lb; ability to move quickly to follow clients when walking or running Consent to a criminal background investigation Travel to clients’ homes on the South Shore as needed Benefits (Not Exhaustive) Guaranteed base salary with additional summer pay Flexible schedules with low required billable hours Consistent in‑person clinical support Annual CEU stipend toward professional development Free CEUs provided during scheduled meetings Paid training and professional development Tuition reimbursement Monthly transportation stipend and mileage reimbursement Company‑provided technology Health, Dental, Vision insurance Company‑funded life insurance Health Savings Account 401(k) Paid time off: vacation, personal, sick Paid holidays Competitive pay rate Advancement opportunities Referral program Working Conditions and Physical Effort The work environment requires extended periods of walking and standing and constant movement throughout the day. You may need to assist clients with grooming, hygiene, eating, and respond to behavioral incidents. The position may require occasional physical exertion, including stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting objects weighing up to 40 lb. Staff may need to sit or kneel on the ground with clients and quickly arise to a standing position if needed. All staff must complete and pass company‑provided Safety Care training.
