What you’ll do Demonstrate strong customer service through attentiveness, the ability to listen and connect with customers, and the ability to process transactions quickly and accurately while providing a positive banking environment. Process banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, GL tickets, wire origination, cashier’s checks, and savings bonds. Balance teller drawer daily. Assist customers with debit card maintenance, including creating and printing debit cards. Assist with digital banking needs, answer phones, and provide general financial services information. Compile information and documentation for stop pays, account closings, and input information into the system. Act in accordance with all required banking and regulatory requirements. Perform work under direct supervision, handle basic issues, and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff; possess beginning to working knowledge of the subject matter. What you need to be successful Strong customer service skills. 0–2 years of direct experience as a Teller or similar financial services position. Cash handling experience. Intermediate Excel skills (at minimum). Self-starter with problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Quick learner and adaptable. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Effective oral and written communication skills.
