Assistant Project ManagerAvflight Corporation is a global aviation services company specializing in fixed base operations (FBOs), aircraft fueling, ground handling, and aviation infrastructure. Avflight develops, operates, and maintains airport and private aviation facilities throughout its network.General Purpose of Job:The Assistant Project Manager will support a wide range of aviation infrastructure and capital improvement projects, including fuel farm construction and upgrades, new FBO and hangar development, facility renovations, roofing, hangar doors, HVAC and mechanical systems, pavement and ramp improvements, and other airport and private aviation infrastructure projects.Working closely with Avflight's Project Managers, local teams, contractors, vendors, airport representatives, and other stakeholders, the Assistant Project Manager will help coordinate projects from planning and procurement through construction, completion, and closeout.Duties:Ensuring compliance with established Avflight Standards.Developing and maintaining project schedules, task lists and timelines.Assisting with project budgeting, expense tracking and cost analysis.Preparing scope of documents, change orders and progress reports for review.Coordinating with cross-functional teams to manage resources and deliverables.Monitoring project milestones, identifying risks and helping develop mitigation plans.Managing contracts, certificates of insurance, lien waivers, and vendor invoicesOrganizing and documenting project meetings, decisions and action items.Supporting quality assurance by checking deliverables against requirements.Aid in Environmental Fieldwork.On-site support as needed.Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum 2 years’ experience4-year college degree in Aviation or related study and/or equivalent professional experience preferredMust be 18 years or olderAirport infrastructure, construction, facilities, engineering, or aviation experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint requiredHealthy regard for the importance of safety in the workplaceMust possess strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsPersonable, organized, self-motivated, and has a strong work ethicAbility to multi-taskMust be willing to travel up to 75% of the time throughout the yearMust pass background check, pre-employment drug test, have valid Driver's license with a good driving record within company standardsMust have authorization to work in the U.S.Skills and Competencies:Project scheduling.Budgeting and financial tracking.Report writing and presentation development.Data analysis and KPI measurement.Communication and stakeholder engagement.Problem-solving and adaptability.Time management and prioritization.Leadership support and conflict resolution.Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.Work Environment:Airport environment: Indoors and Outdoors.
