We are seeking a dedicated Preventative Maintenance Technician to help keep our property operating safely, efficiently, and reliably through routine inspections and proactive care. What Will You Be Doing? In this hands-on, forward-focused role, you will support hotel operations by identifying and addressing maintenance needs early, helping preserve equipment life and prevent unexpected downtime:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance across building systems and guest-facing areas
• Inspect, test, and service equipment including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical components
• Document inspections, repairs, and performance trends for engineering leadership
• Identify potential issues and recommend proactive solutions
• Keep equipment, tools, and work areas clean, safe, and organized
• Assist with minor repairs as needed to support overall engineering operations

What Will You Bring to the Role? We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and efficiency. You will also bring:

• High School education or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Must be able to perform basic math
• 3 to 4 years previous experience as a general repairman preferred.
• Ability to use all general repair tools
• Ability to read simple drawings and specifications
• Ability to make rough estimates of required materials
• Ability to recognize early warning signs of mechanical issues and take corrective action
• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A team-first attitude and a commitment to consistent, high-quality work
• Availability to work mornings Monday through Friday, including weekends or holidays as needed
