Description Facey Medical Foundation is hiring across the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valley which may include: Mission Hills, Porter Ranch, Northridge, Simi Valley, Tarzana, Burbank, Valencia, and Canyon Country! The Medical Assistant (MA) II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. Required Qualifications Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship (Applied learning) or Coursework/Training: Has completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces. or Coursework/Training: Has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic environment for at least six months or Coursework/Training: Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 6 months of Healthcare experience 6 months of Medical Assistant experience Preferred Qualifications National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
