The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse or distribution management, a thorough understanding of waterworks products, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day operations, managing a high‑performing team, and ensuring the branch meets both operational and customer service goals. STAline Waterworks is a Charlotte, NC based distributor of waterworks products and related items to contractors and municipalities. Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a four year college or technical school Minimum 2 years work experience managing a warehouse/distribution facility Knowledge about waterworks products strongly preferred Ability to work cooperatively with others Strong communication and leadership skills A positive attitude and strong work ethic Summary Job Responsibilities: Manage the movement of goods into and out of warehouse facility to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of operations. Manage P&L for one or more operating branch locations. Foster customer account relationships serviced by the branch. Organize and manage all branch operations to effectively meet customer needs. Perform personnel functions, such as hiring, training and job performance evaluation. Monitor and/or negotiate with suppliers to ensure they provide needed products within budgetary limits. Direct or coordinate financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency. Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity goals or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement. Direct and coordinate branch activities concerning the pricing, sales, or distribution of products. Seek opportunities to grow market share by assessing customer needs and monitoring competition. Provide product pricing and availability over the phone, in person, or through various electronic technologies by using independent judgment, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
