Terminal Operator / Laborer - Temp-to-hire

Job TitleThis role works in a cement distribution terminal loading and unloading cement from railcars and trucks to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery to customers.Responsibilities include operating and positioning terminal equipment; monitoring material flow, pressures, and inventory; collecting samples; completing and processing all required paperwork using computer systems; and coordinating with railroads, drivers, customers, sales, and vendors. The role also performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of terminal machinery and equipment—including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding tasks—operates mobile equipment such as forklifts and track mobiles, supports housekeeping and grounds maintenance, maintains a safe work environment, and promotes quality, continuous improvement, and best practices.
