Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders. Uses measuring tools and related equipment to target and fit piping. Sil-brazes cuni pipe. May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Participates in special projects, as required.Education: Requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience Technical or vocational training preferredExperience: 1-3 years of related pipefitting experience. The likely hourly rate for this position is between $26.35 - $35.65. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
