Overview CT Technologist role description and responsibilities for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. Role Summary Join our imaging team as a CT Technologist. You will perform computed tomography (CT) procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. You report to the CT Section Leader. Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Full Time Pay Range: $41.00 - $57.00 / Hourly Shift: Eve/Night shift Hours: 4:00 PM – 7:30 AM (x2), 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (x1) Hours per week: 40 hours Responsibilities Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Collaborate with the imaging team to ensure patient safety and exceptional image quality. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program, or equivalent diploma, required. Experience: One (1) or more years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred. Licensure & Certifications: Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required; Advanced ARRT certification in CT strongly preferred; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers required. Required Skills & Knowledge Demonstrated proficiency with IV insertion and administration of iodinated contrast media per American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines. Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology. Proficiency in performing a wide variety of diagnostic CT examinations. Experience using PACS, HIS/RIS, and other healthcare information systems. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new technologies. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable privacy regulations.
