CPA Financial Controller

Leading the finance function for a legal services company, the full-time remote CPA Financial Controller will manage financial performance, oversee accounting functions, and drive financial planning and analysis while collaborating with the executive leadership team. Key responsibilities Oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and compliance with tax regulations Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans to support business growth Work closely with department heads to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency Required qualifications CPA designation required Minimum 10+ years of experience in financial management, focusing on FP&A, accounting, and operations Knowledge of Canadian or American accounting policies and procedures Experience in multi-location businesses, professional services, or law firm accounting is an asset Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations
