Details\n \n Operating Room unit running up to 5 rooms during the day, reducing to 1 room after 1900 with on-call coverage \n Cases include General, Gyn, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, ENT, Minor Vascular, and GI \n Shifts vary and may include five 8s (0615-1445), four 10s (0615-1645), or three 12s (0615-1845) \n Call coverage required, scheduled over an 8-week cycle requiring 6-8 weekdays and 2 weekend days of call \n Floating to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, required based on need \n Requirements\n \n Active GA or Compact RN license required \n AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required \n Minimum 18 months of recent OR experience required \n Full SSN and DOB required for consideration \n Additional Information\n \n Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties \n Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted \n Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility \n RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed per contract \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-752449.
