About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour; Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:30 - 17:15; 14:45 - 23:15 Experience: 1.5 years minimum hospital experience License: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, RI and CT required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Experience with GE and Siemens equipment Experience with 3D rendering and various CT procedures Ability to float between multiple facilities Willingness to work every weekend Description: Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility. This position requires flexibility to work 5x8 shifts as needed for days and evenings. The candidate will be required to float between different locations and must obtain licensure in both states. Candidates can start working under whichever state license is issued first. Previous experience includes performing various CT scans including abdomen, chest, and cardiac studies. Experience with emergency department procedures and trauma cases is preferred. Candidates must adhere to isolation precautions and potentially operate in ICU settings. Interdisciplinary support available within the unit includes various healthcare professionals. The facility operates as a Level III trauma center. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment and a diverse patient population including adolescents and geriatrics. Experience with the EPIC charting system is required. Experience with patient procedures such as aspirations and biopsies is also necessary. Travel experience is beneficial, and candidates must have the ability to measure regions of interest.
