Custodian – Construction CleanupLocation: Phoenix, AZSchedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PMPay: $18.00/hourPosition SummaryNesco Resource is seeking a dependable Custodian to assist with cleaning and maintaining the interior of a facility during ongoing construction. This is a hands-on position focused on construction cleanup, debris removal, general cleaning, and keeping work areas safe and organized.The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, comfortable performing physical work, and able to work around active construction areas.Key ResponsibilitiesClean interior areas impacted by ongoing constructionSweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and work areasRemove construction debris, trash, dust, and other materialsEmpty trash containers and properly dispose of wasteWipe down surfaces and remove dust from construction activityMaintain clean and organized hallways, common areas, and workspacesAssist with general custodial and janitorial duties throughout the facilityIdentify and report potential safety hazardsFollow all construction-site and facility safety proceduresWear required PPE while working in designated areasAssist with additional cleanup and general labor duties as neededQualificationsPrevious custodial, janitorial, construction cleanup, or general labor experience preferredComfortable working around active constructionDependable with good attendance and punctualityAbility to follow instructions and safety proceduresStrong attention to cleanliness and detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical & Safety RequirementsSteel-toe boots are required and must cover the ankleAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent bending, reaching, stooping, and repetitive movementAbility to perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shiftAbility to lift and move cleaning supplies, trash, and construction debris as neededMust wear all required PPEComfortable working in a construction environment where dust, noise, and varying temperatures may be present
