Baptist Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Main OR Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time evenings, 11:00 AM-11:00 PM position with a call requirement which is self-scheduled based on the department needs and will require a 40-minute call response time. As a Registered Nurse for the Main OR, you will be responsible for: Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition. Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement. Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care. Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital. Coordinate care provided by ancillary services. Act as the patient advocate Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities. Experience Requirements 1-2 years Operating Room Circulating Nursing Experience Required Education & Credential Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required Licensed Registered Nurse Required Associate of Science, Nursing This RN, Main OR position will be located at Baptist Downtown.
