This is a remote position within the United States. Candidates must be located in the U.S. and able to travel to Indianapolis, IN approximately once per quarter.

\n

\n

We are seeking an experienced Process Mechanical Estimator to support large-scale industrial and process facility projects. This is a remote opportunity requiring quarterly travel to Indianapolis, Indiana.

\n

\n

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical construction estimating with experience supporting process piping, HVAC, and other mechanical systems. Candidates should be comfortable developing detailed estimates from engineering drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and other construction documents.

\n

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

• Develop mechanical construction cost estimates from conceptual through final bid stages

\n

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for process piping, HVAC, mechanical equipment, and related systems

\n

• Review P&IDs, mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction documents

\n

• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor/vendor costs

\n

• Review vendor and subcontractor quotations for scope, accuracy, and completeness

\n

• Support bid evaluations, proposal development, and estimate reviews

\n

• Identify scope gaps, risks, constructability concerns, and cost-saving opportunities

\n

• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams

\n

• Maintain estimating data and utilize historical project costs to support estimate development

\n

\n

Qualifications:

\n

• 5+ years of mechanical estimating experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, or process facilities preferred

\n

• Strong process piping and mechanical estimating experience

\n

• Experience estimating HVAC systems

\n

• Demonstrated experience performing detailed quantity takeoffs

\n

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction documents

\n

• Experience developing labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor/vendor pricing

\n

• Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and cost databases

\n

• Experience with Bluebeam, FastPipe, AutoBid Mechanical, QuoteSoft, RSMeans, or similar estimating tools is beneficial

\n

• Familiarity with MCAA and/or SMACNA estimating standards is preferred

\n

• Pharmaceutical, life sciences, semiconductor, chemical, manufacturing, food & beverage, or other process-intensive project experience is highly desirable

\n

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered

\n

• Must be able to travel to Indianapolis, IN approximately once per quarter
