Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) position is based in West Burlington, Iowa. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Care Unit that includes complex cases such as geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric issues. The selected candidate must bring their license on the first day. The unit may require floating between inpatient rehab and medical care units. An Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system experience within the last 12 months is required.

Job Details:

• Location: West Burlington, Iowa
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Iowa state nursing license; experience with the nursing assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months; ability to respond and arrive on-site within one hour if called in; floating requirements; weekend rotation
• Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry experience
• Additional Information: The unit is a Medical Care Unit with less acute patients, including those awaiting long-term placement or with various medical diagnoses. Experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months is necessary. The position involves a high standard of professional nursing interaction with patients, families, and team members. The estimated hours per week are 36.
