Ultrasound Technologist - Part-Time Variable

Overview Ultrasound Technologist, Providence Milwaukie Hospital, Milwaukie, OR Part‑time / Variable shift. $4,000 sign‑on bonus for external eligible candidates. Compensation and benefits begin on first day of employment. Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians’ orders utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment while taking into account the individual patient’s special or age‑related needs. Required Qualifications Education to meet certification, license or registration requirements. Board eligible for certification at the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary. Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. Within 6 months of hire: National certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire. New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound. 2+ years OBGYN sonography experience for ultrasound codes 612‑71875, 612‑71877, 612‑71878, 612‑71882, 612‑71883, 612‑71884. Compensation Pay range: $46.81 – $72.66. Additional compensation may be available for this role, including shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
